Since 2009, Michael Brusca has devoted the majority of his practice to representing people who need his help. His work as a Cherry Hill, NJ nursing home lawyer at Davis & Brusca Trial Lawyers has allowed him to work with a more vulnerable part of the population, and help them get representation when they absolutely deserve to have it. Michael has witnessed a family member suffer due to issues in an assisted living home and wants to prevent it from happening to others. He has made a career devoted to helping vulnerable people fight against institutions that may have caused them harm and is always sympathetic with his clients and what they are going through.

Michael is currently serving on the Executive Board of the national Nursing Home Litigation Group for the American Association for Justice. His work has been published in respected law magazines, such as the New Jersey Law Journal and in “Trial,” the attorney magazine published and disseminated nationally by the American Association for Justice.

In the past, Michael served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force. While he served, he tried many cases all around the world including Japan, Qatar, and Kuwait. He also was the lead counsel for the plaintiff in Dwyer v. Harborview, which generated the largest nursing home verdict to date in New Jersey.

Michael still gives back to the community by regularly lecturing across the United States about techniques that have been successful in court. He teaches other attorneys and law offices how to prosecute nursing home abuse claims the right way so that assisted living facilities can be held accountable for the actions of the people who work there. He also works with law enforcement to be aware of signs of nursing home abuse and how to be aware of what is going on in these facilities. It is important for everyone to be involved in protecting people who cannot always protect themselves, and Michael has made this his life’s work.
